Clearer equipment handovers and return assessments
Keep the installed component, return condition and next workshop action connected to the rental movement.
Product update · 21 September 2026
Rental handovers now carry more of the equipment story. Teams can select the component set used for a mobilization and record separate return assessments for the equipment body and its set.
What this changes for operations
The yard can review the equipment and component together before dispatch. On return, the assessment can distinguish continued service, equipment that did not run, inspection, repair and scrap outcomes where supported. The next team can follow the recorded condition rather than reconstructing it from a separate message.

Technical and workflow notes
- Single and bulk movements use the same row-based equipment workflow.
- Return assessments are recorded with the movement event and appear on the return documentation.
- Component and body outcomes are kept distinct, including supported detachment and retirement behavior.
- Existing role checks still govern movements and exceptional overrides.
