Compare the workflow

A useful comparison starts in the yard.

Evaluate equipment traceability, rental operations, maintenance and billing with a practical product comparison.

An asset system needs to support the people making daily decisions: what is available, what needs service, what left for a job, what returned and what should be billed. Use those decisions to evaluate Hafrix alongside Asset Patrol.

What the vendor publishes

Asset Patrol describes an oil-tool tracking and rental-billing system with inventory, procurement, maintenance, reporting and QHSE/API Q2-related modules. Its site also lists an offline service-billing workflow for particular service lines. These are the vendor's descriptions; they do not establish the scope of a customer's license or an independently verified certification. Operational question What to review in Hafrix
Where is each asset and what belongs to it? Register, current location, components and the asset's recorded history
Is it fit for the next assignment? Compliance, readiness, maintenance and remaining-life information
Does the handover match the job? Dispatch bookings, assigned equipment and delivery notes
Can the field team work on a phone? The mobile field workspace, supported offline capture and synchronization states
Can finance explain the numbers? Rental periods, invoice lines, asset costs and available reports

Ask for evidence, not a column of checkmarks

Bring one equipment record, one active job and one billing example. Ask both teams to run the scenario, including an exception such as an expired certificate, a short kit or a returned component needing repair. Review how permissions, corrections and history behave when the happy path stops.

If QHSE, API Q2, statutory accounting, a named integration or a specific certification is a purchasing condition, ask for the exact supported scope and evidence. Hafrix does not claim to replace every specialist QHSE or accounting workflow, or to hold a certification merely because it records compliance information.

Match the operating model

Agree the modules, roles, implementation scope, migration depth and support responsibilities before comparing price. Hafrix's illustrative website calculator is a preview, not a competitor-price benchmark. Historical imports and specialist integrations need a scoped assessment.
